Possibly Spanish, circa 1500
Mounted overall with iron bands, the leather scored with circles and lines, the hinged rectangular top with a pointed handle, enclosing a plain leather lined interior, the front with a pierced lockplate with a concealed key-hole, some losses, the leather lining to the interior mostly lost
