The slightly domed hinged rectangular top enclosing a paper-lined interior, the front decorated with brass studs, the front with a lockplate flanked to either side by a six-pointed star with green velvet panels, the sides with carrying handles, losses to the leather on the back, partially re-patinated, the green velvet panels distressed
