The rectangular tap inlaid with verde antico, lapis lazuli, jasper and other marbles, depicting a central scene with fruit and flowers, flanked by birds and foliage, within a border inlaid with perching birds and olive branches, the white-veined green marble supports each with S-scrolls flanking a flower-head, on a rectangular moulded plinth
