A PAIR OF WATERCOLOR AND SILK NEEDLEWORK PICTURES
Probably English, early 19th century
Depicting a shepherd and shepherdess, in pastoral landscapes. Each with oval scene worked in silk on silk ground with watercolor highlights, with rectangular black and gilt reverse painted glazed panels and gilt frame.
