The circular steel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters inscribed 'Edw. Wicksteed/London.', the beaded and lappeted door within a fruiting laurel-wreath with glazing at the top, above the fluted shaft with egg-and-dart frieze and glazed beaded door hung with fruiting laurels, enclosing a barometer and thermometer, both inscribed in upper and lower case 'Joseph Molten/In et Facit Amsterdam' and dated '1779', above an oval medallion with a sickle and wheat-shaft flanked by flowering branches and a breakfront plinth centred by floral swags and flanked by flowerhead medallions, above a guilloche-band and a fluted tapering volute base with fruiting laurel-swags and foliate boss, with pendulum and no winder, glazing to clock face lacking, redecorated
