The rectangular top above a fall-front with velvet-backed pierced star-shaped mounts and handles, enclosing a parcel-gilt and ivory decorated interior with seven variously-sized drawers, each with two chequer panels flanked by two spirally-turned detached columns and gadrooned panels, flanking a central drawer with an architectural facade enclosing two further small drawers and a mechanism for a concealed compartment, above the stand with two trestle-end supports with three columns each, joined by a pierced gallery with four stop-fluted columns and various decoration on scrolled feet, the fronts to the lopers lacking
