This fauteuil de bureau is identical to one stamped by Georges Jacob in the Palais de l'Elysée (E. Dumonthier Ed Morancé, Les Sièges de Georges Jacob, 1922, p. 43) while a further model stamped JACOB. D. RUE MESLEE. was sold anonymously, Couturier-Nicolay, Paris, 31 March 1994, lot 96.
