The sidelock with an ornate bolted dolphin hammer, the percussion breech with an engraved platinum plug, best bold foliate-scroll engraving with virtually full colour-hardened finish, figured walnut half-stock with chequered horn-capped forend, pistolgrip, engraved and colour-hardened pistolgrip-cap (with trap) and engraved butt-plate, the body of the stock inset with a patch box with an extensively engraved sprung cover, the comb with its leather covered 'Henry's Patent Elevator', No. 99, the hand mounted with an Alex. Martin folding rear- sight with cup, sling-eyes, the browned twist multi-groove rifled target barrel with target sights (one element missing)
