An Austrian centrepiece,
in three sections imitating a fountain, the vertical part formed of a classical vase standing on a high pedestal foot mounted with a pair of cherubs and two cast vacant laurel-mounted cartouches, supporting a shallow circular dish with a standing cherub on a pedestal in the centre, the circular base with chased band of ribbon-tied laurel leaves (loaded base)- 55cms high; the horizontal section in the form of a stepped oval platform with removable central liner: its centre providing the support for the vertical part described above, weight of platform excluding liner 81ozs, (the liner only engraved "AUSTRIA": weight 65ozs), total height of centrepiece 66cms, stamp for J. C. Klinkosch, Vienna.
