An abstract modern design ring of yellow metal, unmarked, set with a single cabochon water opal, size M; accompanied by a typescript document, signed, from Mitch Mitchell's mother, Phyllis Mitchell, dated March 1997...This opal ring was given to me by Jimi Hendrix, late 1967 or early 1968. Jimi and Mitch had missed a flight out of Heathrow...so they decided to come home to wait for the next flight...I admired the ring, which Jimi was wearing...he took it off and gave it to me, 1p. (2)
