A c. 1959 Fender Precision Bass guitar, Serial No. 33194, in sunburst finish, double cutaway body, maple neck with skunk stripe routing, twenty fret fingerboard with dot inlays, single pickup, two rotary controls, handrest, bridge/tailblock and gold anodised pickguard, signed in blue felt pen on the pickguard by Pete Townshend and on the body by John Entwistle and Roger Daltrey, additionally inscribed in Entwistle's hand Who Are You?, played on the Who Are You? album, 1978; and a rectangular brown hardshell case
