A large French ormolu and bronze mantel clock

Cast with figures in the manner of Clodion, surmounted by a satyr and bacchante with tambourine overflowing with vines, above the drum-shaped case with segmented white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the twin-train movement with countwheel striking on a bell, flanked to one side by a flute-playing satyr and to the other with a female satyr, both surrounded by drunken putti, on scrolling foliate-cast base, signed Henry Dasson 1881
