A black and gilt japanned work table, 19th century
Probably German or French, in the Louis XVI style, the hinged overhanging top with a mirror to the reverse enclosing a divided interior and decorated with gilt chinoiserie figures in a landscape, with similar shaped sides and an apron, on slender cabriole legs with gilt metal sabots
