The drum case on a waisted pedestal flanked by three cavorting cherubs entwined with floral swags, the shaped base with beaded border raised on waisted feet, the white enamel dial with Roman chapters and Arabic minutes with pierced gilt metal hands and inscribed CHARPENTIER & CIE.
