A versified history of Islam, Persian manuscript on paper, 468ff. with 25ll. of black nasta'liq arranged in four columns, outer gold rules, titles in red, with SEVENTY EIGHT FULL PAGE MINIATURES, verso of sixty eight of them with studies of wild flowers, opening finely illuminated gold and polychrome bifolio, final folio with colophon signed Mirza Husayn Shirazi and dated Jumada I 1238, light staining and rubbing, in contemporary Indian red morocco binding with gold tooled decoration

This is an amplified version of Hamlah-i-Haidari, brought up to the establishment of the Umayyad dynasty and the accesssion to power of Mu'awiah. It was completed at the request of Mir Karim 'Ali Khan of Thatta. The text and illumination appear to be the work of a Persian scribe, possibly even within Persia. The miniatures were added once the manuscript was complete.
