Of cylindrical form on small foot. the sloping shoulder rising to a vertical neck with everted mouth, the sides moulded with a large kufic inscription, the tall hastae knotted together, on a ground of tight scrolling vine, a band below of simple vertical bands, the shoulder with a bands of running animals reserved against a lustre ground, the neck with simple scrolling motifs, the interior with bold stylised kufic, old repairs, minimal restoration

The inscription consists of standard benedictory phrases. It is written is such a way that the artistic appearance of the upper part of the letters takes precedence over the intelligibility of what is written below.
