Lot Essay

Arthur Johann Leeb (d.1863) studied in Lindau and worked in Winterthur, Lausanne, Geneva and Paris, where for some time he was assistant to Bertel Thorvaldsen. He settled in Munich in 1826 and produced neo-classical figures and reliefs.
