SOUTH WEST PERSIA, DATED AH 1339/1920-21 AD
The shaded indigo field with overall herati pattern around columns of bold polychrome flowerheads and stepped diamond panels containing boteh and rosette centrepieces issuing flowering vine, inscription panel at one end, in a shaded brick-red border of rosette and angular vine meander between ivory floral meander and barber-pole stripes, ends rewoven, small repairs
