Les Allen achieved another 'Double' (albeit not as important as his first with Spurs in season 1960-61) with Queens Park Rangers, this season with them winning the Division 3 Championship and The Football League Cup. Queens Park Rangers won the Division 3 Championship with a total of 67, twelve points clear of second-placed Middlesbrough on 55. In the Football League Cup final, played at Wembley on 4th March 1967 before 97,952 spectators, Queens Park Rangers defeated West Bromwich Albion 3-2 (2)
