by Thomas Heath, signed on the proportional dividers and the protractor Thomas Heath Fecit, with scissor action parallel rule, sector, large and small dividers, pens, tweezers, paper tweezers, combination file, adjusting tool and knife, glass tube and pencil, the black fishskin covered case with compartment inside the lid with cover secured by two brass hooks and eyes, the interior red plush-lined and edged with tooled red leather, the exterior with two brass hooks and eyes and decorative brass keyhole escutcheon -- 10½in. (26.8cm.) wide
