An exhibition standard 1½in. scale model of the Allchin single cylinder, two speed, three shaft General Purpose Traction Engine No.3251
built by Geo.S.Stubbs with brazed copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include cylinder ¾in. bore x 13/8in. stroke, trunk type crosshead guide, footplate controlled draincocks and pipes, displacement lubricator, Stephenson's link reverse, bolted, strapped and wedged big end, two roadspeeds, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, belt driven pickering governor and spoked flywheel. Chassis details include spoked straked wheels with brass hubcaps, worm and roller chain steering, spud pan, footplate controlled damper, cable drum, cable and fairleads, injector, water lift and suction pipe, hand operated band brake to second shaft, wooden foot board, steps, lamp irons, and other details. Finished in maroon, red and black with black and yellow lining and polished brightwork -- 16 x 26¼in (40.5 x 66.5cm). Display base and perspex cover
