An architectural capriccio with elegant figures promenading and playing music

The present composition is derived from the painting in a private collection, Venice (see D. Succi, in the catalogue of the exhibition, Canaletto & Visentini, Venezia & Londra, Venice, 1986, pp. 10, 62-63), but is approximately one-third the size and the composition is slightly cropped on the left and right sides.
