A 1974 HALL OF FAME INDUCTION DAY SIGNED BASEBALL
A Spalding Official National League, Charles Feeney baseball signed by twenty-four members of the Hall of Fame attending the day's ceremony.
Each signature on the ball is significant including Mickey Mantle, Joe Medwick and Charlie Gehringer on the sweet spot. Along with other notable signers are Cool Papa Bell, Casey Stengel, Satchel Paige, Bob Feller, Stan Musial and Buck Leonard. Signatures rate between 6/10 and 9/10. This ball is unique in the fact that it is the only Hall of Fame induction ceremony ever attended by Mantle and the only time two teammates, (Mantle, Ford) have been inducted together.
