RUTH/GEHRIG/RUPPERT SIGNED BASEBALL
A Tober Sporting Goods Co. Suburban League baseball signed by five members of the New York Yankees organization.
Among the signatures included are Babe Ruth on a side panel, Lou Gehrig on another side panel and on still a third side panel are owner Jacob Ruppert and Tony Lazzeri and Bob Meusel. All signatures rate a 6/10 or 7/10. Together with six photographs of the baseball being signed by Ruth, Meusel and Ruppert and the consignor as a small child being held by Ruth and Gehrig. A Letter of Authenticity is provided by James Spence. (7)
