Embroidered in colored silks on a silk ground, the oval central reserve with a strapwork and floral border depicting a shepherd and shepherdess in an extensive landscape, the reserve flanked by a courtly lady and gentleman and surrounded by various flora and fauna including a lion, stag, parrots and butterflies, in a later rectangular ogee-molded wood frame
