The rectangular plate within a frame worked with full-length portraits of a king and a queen beneath canopies, the corners with circular reserves centering a leopard, a lion, and a pair of parrots, the top and base with scenes of a castle and a fountain and with fruiting trees, worked in silk and metallic threads in various stitches and applied with seed pearls and lace on a silk ground, within tortoiseshell borders
