A LATE VICTORIAN GILT-METAL AND SILVER FILLIGREE INKSTAND
Inscribed with the date 22 July 1890
Of rectangular form with central lidded reserve flanked by two chamfered square cut-glass ink bottles with stepped and beaded lids with scrolling filligree border below a disc and ball finial, over downsloping filligree outer borders with central gilt rosette to each side, on ball feet, inscribed Presented to Mrs. Markham/by the/Law Clerks of Northampton/on their eighteenth Annual visit to Sedgebrook/22nd July 1890
