The tulipwood-banded octagonal top with bone stringing and central ebony and fruitwood checkerboard with inlaid brass surround and molded edge, over a fluted and faceted spreading columnar stem with brass filets above upspringing leaf tips and a circular base, on three S-scroll legs with brass mounted hips and inlaid angles, with the dealer's printed label Peter Mack Brown/Washington D.C.
