The oblong base on four foliate and shell feet, with anthemion and shell border under gadrooned border, the frame enclosing six baluster-form cut-glass bottles with ball stoppers and silver neck mounts chased with anthemion, the central leaf-clad standard surmounted by a heart-shaped ring handle, one side engraved with a crest, marked under base, on handle, neck mounts and four nuts; the six bottle tickets with gadroon and shell border, and variously pierced SOY, KYAN, TARRAGON, KETCHUP, CHILI, and LEMON PICKLE, five with maker's mark of Thomas and James Phipps II, London, 1818, one with maker's mark of John Reily, 1823
