Each rectangular, repoussé and chased overall with dense scrolls, foliage and lion's masks enclosing chinoiserie scenes of a maiden gathering leaves and architecture, the hinged cover similarly decorated and surmounted with a finial formed as a Chinaman reposing under an umbrella, all fitted in a later bombe rectangular walnut case, with ivory key hole, marked under bases and covers
