19th Century, various maker's marks
A cann, maker's mark of Gerardus Boyce, New York, circa 1845, the baluster form body with octagonal panels lightly chased with flowers and foliage, with leaf-capped handle; a beaker, Cann & Dunn for Ball Black & Co., plain cylindrical with moulded borders; another beaker, unmarked, engraved with inscriptions; a fish slice, maker's mark of R. & W. Wilson, Philadelphia, with shaped pierced blade and hollow handle engraved with foliage; another fish slice, Michael Gibney for Ball Black & Co., dated 1845, with shell handle; and a cake saw, William Wilson & Son, Philadelphia, shaped blade and handle bright-cut with flowers and foliage.
