A SCOTTISH SILVER TEAPOT
Maker's mark of John McDonald, Edinburgh, 1802
Oval with curved spout and wood squared loop handle, lightly engraved with an upper band of scrolling foliage, a wreath forming a cartouche at both sides, and a lower band simulating fluting, the domed cover engraved with key fret design; together with, a cream jug, London, 1800, maker's mark rubbed, similar to the teapot, and another cream jug, Dublin, 1806, maker's mark of Richard Sawyer, plain oblong with loop handle; the teapot marked under the base, the two cream jugs marked near the upper border.
