Maker's mark of Walker and Hall, Sheffield, 1900
Of bottle shape on stepped domed base with repousse gadroons, scale and flowerheads, the sides with vacant (erased) cartouches flanked by foliage and applied repousse winged mer-figures beneath a basket of fruit, the front with a leopard head, the neck with bands of bell-flowers, guilloches and stiff leaf-tips, with scroll handle and hinged mechanism linked to the shaped cover with foliate scroll finial, fully marked on the rim, partial marks on the handle mechanism and cover.
