Designed as a cross, the sculpted bail suspending four projecting rock crystal prisms accented at the center with an "X" motif of gold, mounted in 18K yellow gold, 5 in., with French hallmarks

This imposing cross and its several variations were made by M. Goossens for Mlle. Chanel, who was fond of the rock crystal points.
