In the Louis XV style, inlaid overall with quarter-veneered panels, the eared bow-fronted top with a gilt-tooled maroon leather-lined writing-surface and surmounted by a three-quarter pierced gallery, above three frieze drawers each inlaid with flowers and foliage, on cabriole legs headed by foliate pierced clasps and terminating in foliate sabots
