The oval bombé enamelled and painted with a general, a queen and other figures with purple drapes and column, in the 17th Century manner, the enamelled face painted with a reclining lady overlooking a wooded lakeview, the roman chapters alternated by flowers on white ground, hinged silver oval glass cover, silver hanging hook
