A NORTH ITALIAN POLYCHROME-PAINTED FIGURAL CHILD'S SLEIGH
Probably Tyrol, Mid-18th Century
Formed as a uniformed soldier with helmet surmounted by a heron finial with head turned to the left and arms outstretched and encircling the bucket-form seat, with removable wooden liner, the figure seated on a scrolled serpent support, decorated in the round, lacking further elements to soldier's hands and feet
