Circa 1780, the marble of the socle and plinth probably replaced
Formed as an urn with Greek key handles, the cover with a serpent entwined in grape leaves and with two chapter rings below, one with Arabic minute enameled reserves, the other with Roman enameled hour reserves, on a waisted socle with laurel band, on a stepped rectangular base applied with laurel and scrolling grape leaf mounts, the movement later
