Including a 16th century Deruta albarello of inverted double-gourd form, labeled for VNGo*CORDo·QV. within a ribbon beneath the arms of a hospital or pharmacy and above a grotesque mask, both issuing foliate scrolls on a yellow and ochre ground, the whole enclosed within a robbianna issuing scrolling blue ribbons at each side, 8in. (20.3cm.) high; two Savona waisted cylindrical albarelli similarly decorated in blue and white and enriched in yellow with a coat-of-arms within foliate scrolls, 85/8in. (22cm.) high; a Savona blue and white waisted cylindrical albarello painted with a rural landscape and inscribed on the reverse T.M. , 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high; two Italian blue and white footed drug jars, each applied with a coat-of-arms and with a foliate cartouche enclosing the drug label, 12in. (30.5 and 12¾in. (32.4cm.) high; and a modern Deruta albarello and cover painted in the 16th century style, 93/8in.
