Oblong, the sides overall decorated with varicolored shaded Pan-Slavic motifs highlighted with gilt filigree work, the hinged cover with similar design inset with an en-plein enamel plaque depicting the painting Vitiaz at the parting of the ways, after Viktor Vasnetsov, marked under base and inside cover
