Each inlaid overall with ebony and boxwood lines and with a chevron border, the rectangular panelled hinged top enclosing a metal foil -lined interior, one caddy with a mahogany lid, the other caddy with a lead lid, above a panelled front, reverse and sides, the front panel of one caddy later crossbanded, minor variations
