Each with a rounded eared rectangular breakfront top above a central frieze drawer and a yellow pleated-silk brass trellis-panelled hinged door enclosing a shelf flanked by line-inlaid columns and concave-sided conforming panels, flanked by conforming columns, on ring-turned feet, restorations, one leg later

The cabinets, with their hollowed corners, Etruscan-black inlay, golden trellis panels and columnettes terminating in reeded stumps, relate to 'cabinet' patterns illustrated in Thomas Sheraton's, The Cabinet Dictionary, London, 1803, pls. 24 and 25.
