The pairing branch surmounted by a pair of volutes rising from acanthus leaves, with spiral tendrils, with two tangs for lamps, 17¾ in. (45 cm.) high; and a bronze oil lamp in the shape of a sandalled foot, the nozzle extending from under the toes framed by acanthus leaves, the thumb rest in the form of a large flat ivy leaf, 7 in.
