Each fragment with repoussé decoration showing the same scene in reverse: three figures, Syrian nude winged goddess standing full front, beside her a griffin-headed demon in profile carrying situla and holding cone in raised hand towards a snarling lion, intricate chased detail throughout, one fragment in two sections
8 x 5½ in. (20.3 x 14 cm.) and 9 x 5¼ in. (23 x 13.2 cm.) max. respectively (2)
