Showing a hero with fringed robe open at the front grasping the forelegs of two rampant winged bulls, 1 in. (2.6 cm.) high; a late Old Babylonian black stone cylinder seal with a seated deity, in front two suppliant deities wearing flounced robes, standing either side of a tree of life, circa 1800-1600 B.C., 7/8 in. (2.1 cm.) high; a green calcite cylinder seal with two heroes, one in contest with a rampant lion, the other with an inverted animal, 1 in. (2.5 cm.) high; an Akkadian shell cylinder seal with the seated sun-god Shamash with rays emerging from his shoulders, in front are two attendants holding open the gates of the East, 13/8 in. (3.5 cm.) high; another Akkadian shell cylinder seal, two figures in fringed robes, each sitting on a stool with crossed legs, holding a long straw placed in a large vessel which stands between them, a crescent above, 16 in. (3 cm.) high, both circa 2400-2200 B.C.; and five other stone cylinder seals, one chipped and repaired, various periods, 11/8 in. (2.9 cm.) high max. (10)
