Engraved with two ibexes raised on their hind legs flanking a sacred tree, ¾ in. (1.8 cm.) high; a late Hellenistic brown stone hemispheroid stamp seal with Greek inscription, late 1st millennium B.C., 7/8 in. (2.1 cm.) diam.; a large group of Sassanian mainly agate, chalcedony, cornelian, haematite, rock crystal and blood stone stamp seals, mainly engraved with Pahlavi inscriptions and motifs including profile human busts, a woman holding up a lotus flower, a large seal with a cow being milked; a human-headed winged sphinx, winged griffins and horses; a bird, lions, lion-heads, recumbent ibexes and zebus; triple pomegranate and lotus flowers; and nisan symbols, 7/8 in. (2.1 cm.) high max.; a spherical bead with star and crescent within a dotted border, all pierced for suspension; a gold finger ring set with Sassanian agate intaglio showing recumbent stag; an agate intaglio with recumbent zebu; and a cornelian intaglio with profile head, both in silver ring hoops, all with Pahlavi inscriptions, ¾ in. (2 cm.) across hoop max.; and three hardstone intaglios with a zebu, lions, and with inscriptions, all mainly 4th-7th Century A.D. (a lot)
