The heavy gold hoop with octagonal bezel holding oval cornelian intaglio with flat face and bevelled edges cut with a crouching dog, the broad shoulders of the ring of leaf-like form with three decorative grooves, two further pairs of grooves ornamenting the slightly flattened hoop
