The case of rotunda form, with cupola top raised on five pillars, the cylindrical base housing a spring barrel movement and with engraved gradualted scale to the top, with aperture for revolving paper dial marked with Roman and Arabic hours and with quarter hour divisions, alarm to base, with conical pendulum rotating above, with suspension adjustment to the top of the cupola -- 7in. (18cm.) high
