the standing lady wearing head-scarf and long flowing robes pointing to the left stood on flattened wickerwork, the kneeling boy tying his shoes, with a basket attatched to his back, on an oval base and wood stand -- 5¾in. (14.5cm.) high, signature on red lacquer tablet to base, 19th Century, (split to base).
