A Chinese rhinoceros horn libation cup
of tapering form, the interior lip with a band of key-fret design, carved with a double dragon and sceptre handle to the rim extending to the side, the opposite side with lion-mask and loose-ring handle, above bands of shaped panels of stylised taotie masks and further guei dragons between geometric designs, carved rectangular seal to base -- 35/8in. (9.3cm.) wide, 19th Century, (very minor wear).
